CCHA is excited to look back at some of our accomplishments this year. These accomplishments wouldn't be possible without generous donations and support from our CHD community, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

See how your support helps us achieve our mission to advocate for and enrich the lives of people living with CHD through awareness, education, research and support for families living with heart defects.

Research

CCHA continues to partner on CHD research across Canada, writing 4 Letters of Support and partnering on 2 research projects.

We also had an opportunity to provide input into the design of an adult patient survey for post procedure patients undergoing cardiac catheterization to understand their experiences and needs. We look forward to sharing the survey results when complete.  CCHA is proud to be a pillar partner in the Canadian Research Network for Adult Congenital Heart Disease Interventions (CRN-ACHDi) - the first Canadian national ACHD research network to bring together researchers, patients and caregivers, providers and decision makers to improve patient care through collaborative, innovative and highly translational research.

We continue our collaboration with CHEO Halo RI - Toolkit project- Impacting Child Physical and Mental Health Outcomes in Congenital Heart Disease: A Randomized, Controlled Trial of Enhanced Physical Activity Support in Clinical Care
